Ever have one of those days where you just feel like you are just not good enough or you just aren't pretty enough? Well, you're not alone. Several girls feel this way and I admit, there are times that I too feel like that. However, I look just plug in the headphones and turn on my iPod and listen to some songs to help me out.
One good song is James Blunt's "You're Beautiful". I mean, he says in the lyrics, "You're beautiful, it's true."
Another really good song is "Beautiful" by Christina Aguilera. Just listen to the lyrics and not the music and you will hear that EVERYONE IS BEAUTIFUL!
Another thing is that if you look into certain things, what you think is ugly can be beautiful. Have any of you ever seen the musical Wicked? Most people see Elphaba (aka The Wicked Witch of the West) as an ugly green witch. However, listen to the song Popular. Galinda even calls Elphaba beautiful.
In Disney's Beauty & the Beast, everyone was so fixated on the Beat's outward appearance that they did not even take the chance to look at him on the inside.
When Belle lifted the curse, they all saw that the Beast was actually handsome, some might even say beautiful.
So girls, look into yourself. You ARE BEAUTIFUL! :) Don't worry. Get your iPod and pull up You're Beautiful and just drift away, listenng to the music. Look in your mirror and smile and say...
